Help: GIF stickers

Some GIF stickers you added in the past may no longer appear on your cards. Here's what happened and what you can do about it.

Why did my GIF sticker stop working?

GIF stickers used to be powered by Google's Tenor service. Google discontinued that service on June 30, 2026, so GIFs added through it can no longer be loaded.

When you view a card, these unavailable GIFs are simply hidden. When you edit a card, each one appears as a small "GIF unavailable" placeholder so you can remove it.

What should I do?

• Open the card for editing and tap the "GIF unavailable" placeholder.
• Choose "Delete sticker" to remove it.
• Add a fresh GIF from the sticker menu — GIF search now works again, powered by KLIPY.

Are my other stickers affected?

No. Text stickers and photo stickers are unaffected — only GIFs added through the old service are impacted.
